DUE TO THE IMPENDING COVID-19 SITUATION, ALL EAST STROUDSBURG MUNICIPAL FACILITIES WILL BE CLOSED TO THE PUBLIC UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.  All Borough Park facilities remain closed.  Using the playground equipment and park facilities violates the social distancing order set forth by the Governor of Pennsylvania.  The levee loop spans through three municipalities with multiple entry ways, which makes it difficult to close the entire levee loop system to the public;  Additionally, the levee loop can be utilized while still practicing proper social distancing.

If you need assistance, you can contact the office staff at 570-421-8300 Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm. Or you can email the borough by going to the “CONTACT” link on the left side of screen and complete the form.

As the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19/Coronavirus continue to progress, the Monroe County Control Center would like to reassure the public that our 911 dispatchers and staff remain dedicated to our mission of providing the residents and visitors of Monroe County with the highest level of customer service.

As far as our procedures, nothing really has changed.  As usual, if you have an emergency dial 9-1-1.  And, if you have a non-emergency situation that may or may not require a police/fire/EMS response, dial our non-emergency line at 570-992-9911.  We will dispatch the appropriate agencies to assist you.

In an effort to keep our employees healthy and able to fulfill their responsibilities to the public, our 911 center, as well as the entire Public Safety Center, will remain closed to the general public.  Within the confines of our communications center, our 911 dispatchers are socially distancing themselves from one another (as much as they can!) and we continue to clean surfaces and follow “stop the spread” protocol.

We will keep you posted.  In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy, and please look out for one another.
